By default a user with edit rights can edit the asset. If your use case requires you to disable any future editing, you can use Lock feature.


Note: make sure your Role has permissions to lock the assets. Assets will be locked automatically if asset is transferred and the amount left is 0.


  1. Navigate to manage your asset to omniChain \ Assets. 
  2. Next to the asset of your choice select options drop down and choose Edit to go to edit screen for the asset.
  3. Click Lock button to lock the asset.
  4. To edit the asset in the future you need to unlock it first. You can do so by clicking Unlock from the asset edit screen.
