You can import an external RSS feed items as an item in collection.

  1. Navigate to omniContent \ Collections.
  2. Select Manage from option menu next to the collection you want to manage.
  3. Navigate to Content section. Note, you cannot edit RSS feed items, as they are not published in your collection but loaded from external source.
  4. Select Import RSS Feed from action menu to import all RSS feed items as a content in your collection.
  5. When import is complete, you will get a report downloaded which contain detailed results.


Note: only RSS item metadata is imported. If RSS feed contains external media files, only links to those files are imported. You can import those files as media files for content. Learn how to import external media files.
