Media files are used to provide visual display information about the content, as well as ability to distribute multimedia content like video and audio files.


In some use cases, you might want to hide media files on details page. For example, Omnibasis Forums display collection thumbnails in the list of forums, but do not display them in details screen.


To hide media files in details navigate to omniContent \ Collections and click Manage  next to the collection you want to manage.


  1. Select Page section.
  2. Scroll to Override default settings.
  3. Select Hide media files on a details screen for Collection or Content



Hide Media Files for All Collections and Content


You can set a default appearance for all collections and content for media files and hide them on details page.


Navigate to omniContent \ Settings, select Design section.
