Some earning rules can be automatically applied. For example, e-commerce transaction with omniCommerce that rewards points based on customer spending. For example, for ever $1 customer earns 1 point.
To setup automation for earning rules, navigate to omniLoyalty \ Loyalty Setup \ Earning Rules to manage earning rules. Your default Loyalty Program will be selected for you. If you want to edit a different loyalty program earning rules, select it from the drop down at the top left corner.
- Next to the earning rule name select drop down and choose Edit to edit existing rule.
- Select Create in action menu to create a new earning rule.
- Navigate to Configure section and select Permission, Referral, Custom Event, Multiply Reward, Specific Purchase or Spending for a rule type.
- Navigate to Condition section and select Apply automatically.
