The Auction is used for describing  an item which can be products, resources, content or services to be auctioned and purchased by a customer. It contains all the related pricing rules, specific auction bidding rules, and any media like images, videos, documents associated with the auction.


Each Auction may be a product, resource or collection associated with it but not required. Details about the auction can override association and do not affect it. 


To create a product navigate to omniAuctions \ Manage Auctions \ Auctions and click Create in the action menu at the top right corner. 


  1. Configure auction Duration, Strat Date and Time (optional), Currency.
  2. You can select an existing product, resource or collection to be a basis for an auction or create a new item.
  3. Enter or edit Name.
  4. Optionally you can configure other auction identifications, like SKU, Brand, unique identifier. 
  5. Enter a Short description about the auction
  6. Enter a full description, it will appear in detailed view for this auction.
  7. You can use Popularity to move auction to the top of the list.
  8. Use Labels to help you group the auction by different labels and search for auctions in your store.
  9. Put Search optimization title, unique URL and description.
