You can create a new project from a template or from any existing project.


To create a project from a template, navigate to omniWorks \ Templates, and select a template you want to use.


To create a new project without a template, navigate to omniWorks \ Projects and click Create.


  1. Enter a Name for a new project.
  2. Project ID will be generated for you or you can enter a custom ID.
  3. Use Version field if you have multiple versions of projects.
  4. Enter any Description for this project. It is general description and will appear for all resources unless you choose to override them.
  5. Use Labels to help you track and categorize projects.
  6. If you choose to use this project as a template, select Template.
  7. Click Create. 


Note: there are many more options here to configure how your project workflow works. If you want to jump into adding resources and files, click Next.
