Inventory is the quantity of a particular product that is available for sale in your store. In can be in one location and distributed across many locations. You also have a power to move inventory between locations and warehouses, and tack it.
Inventory tracking can help you avoid selling products that have run out of stock, or let you know when you need to order or make more of your product. You can set up inventory tracking, view your inventory, and adjust your inventory counts in the in omniCommerce \ Manage Catalog \ Inventory.
For an individual product, you can always view the history of inventory adjustments for products and variants whose inventory is being tracked.
Product Inventory
Navigate to manage an inventory for the product by going to omniCommerce \ Manage Catalog \ Products.
- Select Manage in options next to the product you want to manage.
- Navigate to Inventory section.
- If no inventory is created, create your product inventory, clicking Add Inventory.
- To modify inventory, select Manage from drop down options next to the inventory information. Learn how to manage inventory detailed records.
